Movie Production - Once Upon a Deadpool Distribution

This film didn't do much to market itself besides digital distribution as it was an edited re-release of Deadpool 2 Digital Distribution Digital distribution started with poster campaigns and YouTube ads. The posters were given Christmas themes to remind audiences of the holiday season release time. The YouTube ads received over 20 million views which showed potential for the movie. Publicity This re-release was made to help expand the audience of the Deadpool franchise. The film was marketed as a Deadpool movie more suitable for younger audiences. This was a big deal as it contrasted with the characteristics of Deadpool. The film also got recognition because of Ryan Reynolds only agreeing to do a PG-13 re-release of Deadpool 2 if portions of proceeds were donated to charity.
